Questions about the N-565 photo
Do I need photos for Form N-565?
- Only if you reside outside the United States: then two identical 2x2 prints. Domestic applicants submit none.
The instructions mention a photo ID. Is that the same thing?
- No, and the two are easy to conflate. Every applicant must submit a copy of a US government-issued photo identification. That is a photocopy of an ID document, not a passport photo, and it is required whether or not the two-print rule applies to you.
