Privacy policy

This policy covers immigrationphoto.com ("Immigration Photo", "we", "us"). The design principle behind the whole site is that the most private thing you have here is your photo, so the free tools are built to never receive it, and the paid service receives it only when you choose, says so on the button, and keeps it private.

Your photos

The free photo checker and the free watermarked fix run entirely in your web browser. Photos you select are opened and processed on your own device; they are not uploaded to our servers and we never see them.

If you buy the compliant photo, your photo is uploaded at that point, with a notice on the button that says so, because the paid processing (background replacement where the document's rules allow it) runs on our servers. The finished photo is stored privately, released only through short-lived signed links to you, and the download link expires; we do not use your photo for anything except producing and delivering your order.

What we collect

The site requires no account. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, timestamp) to operate and secure the service; we use them for debugging and aggregate traffic counts, not to profile individuals. We also keep our own first-party page-view counts (page visited, referrer category, country, device type) with no advertising identifiers.

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help people, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used (scrolling, clicks, and anonymized session replays). Both set their providers' analytics cookies and share usage data with Google and Microsoft respectively under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information and we run no advertising trackers. Your photos are never part of any analytics data: the checker runs on your device, and the upload flow is not captured in replays as image content.

Payments

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, a payment provider that handles your card or wallet details on its own systems. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the email address you provide at checkout, and we use that email to deliver what you bought and handle refunds. We never receive or store card numbers.

Email

If you email [email protected], we keep the correspondence so we can answer you and fix what you reported. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing. The services involved in running the site: our hosting and DNS providers, Dodo Payments (checkout), Resend (delivery emails), the storage and image-processing services that produce paid photos, and Google Analytics as described above. Each receives only what its job requires.

Changes and contact

Changes to this policy appear on this page with a new effective date. Questions go to the address on the contact page.
